2009 Puppy Updates

Hi all :)

Last night we had a terrible rain storm that basically lasted for hours and hours.... needless to say, the yard is one big sloppy mess of mud!  Mike (aka Daddy) let the furry kids romp on their own in the yard for about 45 minutes and the result was hilarious!  Avery was definitely the most dirty little puppy I have ever seen! LOL  She had a BLAST chasing Tucker through all of the mud-puddles....  Enjoy the pictures of the aftermath!

love,
Heather

PS- Christy, this is Heather Johnson from Iowa!  Isn't our lil' girl the cutest?!?  We are totally in love with our baby girl, Avery...  Thank you for everything again!

(
Oscar loves Home Depot!  If I don't bring him, the Home Depot workers ask where he is!  He sits in the cart wonderfully!)    (Oscar always falls asleep sitting up! So cute!)

Hi Mikula Family,

My name is Laura and we welcomed Oscar into our family in Nov of 2008!  I was recently looking at your website and thought I would send you some pictures of Oscar!  Hopefully you can add him to your website along with the other pictures!  If you have a problem opening the pictures, let me know!  Congratulations on your new addition to your family:)

Laura

ps. I can't express what an AWESOME dog Oscar is! I don't know where I would be without him. He has such a great personality as well as being a beautiful dog.  People tell me time and time again that Oscar is the most beautiful Golden Retriever they have ever seen and is the best looking dog at the dog parks! So......Thank You!!!

Hello Christy and family!

It’s been a long time since we’ve met…so you may not remember us….We adopted a female golden puppy from you in November of 2008….she is from the Nissi/Asher litter born in August 2008.

Her name is Lilly...in honor of her lily-white fur and her sweet personality.  J  Lilly is such a fantastic dog…we love her more and more each day.  She is the perfect family pet…loyal, friendly, protective, sweet, loving and best of all – cuddly!  We do not know what our lives were like without her!

Thank you for providing us with such a loving addition to our family.  Lilly’s photo from our last Christmas card is attached.

We hope you are doing well and maybe we’ll see you again someday to find a pal for Miss Lilly!  J

Sending all our best,

Michelle & Mickey

Hi Christy -

Cooper is doing great!  He is a beautiful, loving dog!  He is so full of personality and attitude.  Never a dull moment, always a laugh!
He is a fan favorite in the neighborhood. Kids love to show everyone all his tricks.  I have passed your website on to a few people who are looking for a new golden.  Everyone loves Cooper!
We can't believe he is turning 1 tomorrow.
I will attach a few recent pics, and the one you liked (in the water!)
Take care...    Lori

Hi Christy!

I'm sending you a couple pictures of Alfie's first year here with us. I'll send some more soon, I promise! He is GORGEOUS! We love him so much!! He has such a fun personality, although he often reminds us of Marley the dog from the movie "Marley & Me".

Thank you so much for him! Hope you enjoy the pictures!

Best regards from Monterrey Mexico

Dear Christy,
I sure hope you and the family are all well.  I'm sorry you had such a rough time recently.
Rocky is adjusting well to his new family!  He even met his "cousin" an 8 year old female dog owned by my brother's family, yesterday.  They had a wonderful time scampering about together!  Yesterday was his first day with no potty accidents, too.  The whole time he's been with us, he has never gone at night and sleeps through the night - I guess because his body is a little more mature - he was 14 weeks.  We're working on manners - sometimes, when very excited, he thinks he's a crocodile and wants to bite everything around!  But, day by day, he's a better dog each day.  His temperament has been charming and sweet since day one!
He really was scared of and hated the crate in the beginning.  We have, since, kept it inside a pen with its door open and he likes it very well, now.  That is his safe spot where he goes to sleep, when we're not in the same room.  The pen has a door, that I leave open during his free periods - and he will go in and out.  Otherwise, if we're in the room - he's too excited and wants to be close - so he will stay in the pen area, instead of the crate.  It's hard for us not to have him out all the time, but until we're sure he's potty trained, I'm closely following a suggested crate schedule - I will attach.  Usually, we keep him out for 45 minute to over an hour.  He seems to like his pen/crate time. It forces him to get the puppy rest he needs.
He is amazing, the way he is so unconcerned when handled.  It's very nice to have a dog who is so well mannered and secure with handling.  That, I'm sure, is due to the breeder's early handling of the pups, and is greatly appreciated!  Thank you for such a sweet and beautiful dog.

Hi Christy!
I wanted to take some new photos of Remy - which we did last night.  She is absolutely a joy; we adore her.  She is definitely quite large and LOVABLE!  She goes to the vet again next week, so I'll try to remember to send you her weight, etc.  I'm thinking she is close to 50 pounds......

Tracey

Dear Christy
You are right.  Buddy is 54 pounds.  He got neutered last week Monday and you would never know it!  He is a good boy.  He is not a barker at all, which is good because barking scares sally.
I took him through basic obedience training and he rocked it!  He is still very attached to sally and stays by her a lot.  We have a dvd now to train him how to be more of a service dog for her.
Will keep you apprised of how that goes and I will send you a picture of him asap!  He is gorgeous!
Sue, Michele and Sally too, and especially buddy
How is your pregnancy coming along?

Brewer (Asher x Paloma 9/13) just turned 1 and I wanted to send some pictures from his birthday party and "football" season. He is an amazing dog, the most loving thing in the world... we couldn't have asked for more!

Hi Christy!!  So you were in on the surprise....very sneaky!!  I was so excited to get home from Florida to meet my new little girl...she is absolutely wonderful!  What a doll and she gets along so well with Huey...he's finally his old self again.  The attached picture is what they surprised me with and had me check my email on the road.  My only regret is that Joe was not able to come and pick her up because I would have liked him to have met you and your husband...oh well...maybe next time!!

Everyone is doing fine and thank you so much for your letter to us along with all of the paperwork.  If all breeders were like you...the dogworld would be a better place.  When I was out walking with the dogs the other day, I was feeling so bad that things did not work out for you in your breeding plans with Moxie.  I wish you could still have pups from her somehow...so if you come up with any crazy ideas let me know!! Ha!

I hope all is well in your world and that your pregnancy is not taking such a hard toll on you and that you're feeling better.  I can't imagine how you do all you do and not feeling great on top of it.  I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers!

I will forward additional pictures of both dogs - I'm hoping this weekend to get some before the snow comes - ugh!

Will stay in touch and hope you guys have a fantastic weekend - Thanks for everything!!

Kathy

(Kathy's family bought Huey first, then came back later on to add a Bernese Mountain Dog puppy (which we breed on a limited basis)

Here are a few photos of Abby at six months.  She is doing very well and behaves like a lady with our friends.  I began obedience training last week on my own.  She loves the attention and seems to be a quick and willing learner.  I took her to the Sheboygan TEA party two weekends ago to get her used to lots of people.  People said, "Oh, she is so well trained."  I hadn't even started training yet at that time.

Hope you and your family (including dogs) are well,

Cole.

Hi Christy and Chuck (Brianna and family),
We thought that you would like to see how Reese has grown. He is truly precious, obedient and loving!
He and I are still negotiating the 'leash' situation (as he is extremely strong-willed) but as I believe in training w/ love as opposed to force I know that we will work it out.
I hope all is well w/ your family and kindly allow us the opportunity to wish all a Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year!
Glenn and Nancy

Hello!
It's been about a year since Kirby has come into our lives. I just wanted to share these pictures with you. I am definitely biased, but this is one of the most beautiful dogs around...a real head turner! I was looking at your site again, and can see areal resemblance to his father,Sunny. Kirbys not just a pretty face, either! He is as smart a dog as I have ever come across, and inspired 3 friends to go buy Golden pups....quite the ambassador.
Thanks so much for helping Kirby come into our lives...this year has just flown by; I wanted to send pics sooner, but you know how it goes!
Anyway, thanks again, and know that is one loved young dog.
Lynda , John, and Kirby(Sunny x Risa)

Hi Christy & Family,

It's Molly here from the Daisy and Yogi litter May 2007.  I wanted to say hi and let you know how wonderful I am doing!

I had a fun summer with my family.  I was able to do a lot of fun activities, like going swimming, going to different dog parks around Milwaukee county, and I even got to go camping!! I loved camping, and hope to go again next year.  Everyone loved me of course, so I made lots of human friends, as well as some dog friends!

I still love going to the dog parks as well and meeting friends there.  Everyone wants to take me home with them, because they love how cute, sweet, and affectionate I can be.  But of course I could never ever leave my Kristin and other family, and they'd never ever leave me.  Kristin always tells me how lucky she is to have me, and that I am the best dog in the world and how she will love me forever and ever.... I literally sing and smile every time she tells me that :-)

I attached some pictures from this past summer I thought I would share with you. Other than that, I am doing great and I am a happy dog who loves being loved and sharing my love with my humans :-) Hope to hear back from you soon to hear how your summer has been!

Love,   Molly

Hi! have been meaning to get in touch w/ you.....just want to let you know how LOVED Chester is....and what a great addition to our family.  Everything you said about him was right.....he's the most mellow, sweet, loving, gentle guy...and really fits into our family.  He's 57 lbs now....and so adorable...a big baby.  He also plays every day w/ other dogs...including Sparky, his brother! Gina is equally happy!!  Here's 2 photos of them together last week. Thanks again,
Lisa

(Nissi x Nous) These brothers live in the same Chicago neighborhood together!

Christy,

I wanted to send you some updated pictures of Brinkley- especially since I know this was a first time breeding between Tula and Addison.  Brinkley is truly the best puppy ever!  He is so laid back and chill which makes him the perfect city dog.  It's tough to take him for walks because everyone stops us to comment on how beautiful he is.  He loves meeting new friends, and is such a friendly pup.  He has such a playful and silly personality.  His favorite thing to do is to "stalk" us.  He slinks down the hallway like a lion, moving slowly and deliberately towards his "victim."  Once he gets about a foot away, he pounces, and you can just tell he thinks he is so funny!  We are truly so blessed to count him as an addition to our family.  Thank you so much for bringing Brinkley to us!

Best,
Alissa

Hello to the Mikula family,

I hear congratulations are in order.  Buzz and I wish the best to your new addition that you will be welcoming soon.

I go to your web site frequently just to enjoy the new puppy pictures.  Keep up the good work on this site.  I truly enjoy it.

Just wanted to update you on how well Parker (light blue born on 6/12/08 to Tirza/Asher) is doing.  He had his 1st birthday and of course we had a party with hats, doggie cake and family.  He loves going to the beach to swim, and to the dog park to play and run with his friends.  He gets along with everyone.  He also goes on play dates with his half brother Cash Peterson (Cash's father is Asher and Cash is owned by Linda and Joe Peterson).  We are so in love with Parker.  He truly is the light of our lives and we can't imagine life without him.  Thank you for providing us with such a wonderful puppy.

Attached are a few pictures of our boy

Sawyer has grown up to be a very fine young man.  We love him immensely and cannot remember what it was like before life with him.  Thank you!!

Christy,

Your #1 pick has brought much joy to our home.  Cody has secured himself a spot in our "pack".  He continually exceeds our expectations across the board.  His temperament has us considering training him for a "therapy dog" so he can bring joy to as many as possible.

House breaking has been going great.  Cody is batting about 800 for #1 and 1000 for #2. He has had constant waking attention for the last two days and the run of the first floor. This evening he felt comfortable enough to show us his devilish side by challenging authority (chewing things he knows he is not supposed to) and tearing around. Did I mention; he is a relentless chewer. (Any ideas?)

He has slept through the night, both nights so far, and begun his training 5:30 this morning.(10 min starter session) His name, sit, and come is already at about 75% now with stay just being introduced.  Must have been a fluke but, he even rang the bell set up for him to go out by himself once. Most notable is his desire to be near us;  he will lay down next to whoever sits at the head of the kitchen table for all meals / snacks. Your potential "started" dog was quite the pick.

Just the one bad stool, (must have been stress). Vet tomorrow morning.  Still have not heard is bark. One yelp after some whimpering at bed time. Please use us if you need any testimonials.

Palmer

We just wanted to update you on Lacey (LaceyxBuddy), she just had her first birthday! Lacey has brought nothing but happiness to our family since the moment we got her.  She is an amazing dog, and we couldn't have asked for anything better. Lacey love toys, receiving a new one is always a happy day for her! She loves to play, even with the cat, and sniffs noses with the horses when we aren't looking! She is very adventurous and that nose of hers always keeps her on the move! Lacey is a very loving girl, and we are so pleased she is a part of our family!

Dear Christy,
You can see how Abby has grown since we brought her home in June, 2009.  She has really enjoyed her first snow, running and investigating what might be buried under all those clumps of snow covered grass.  She also loves company and is well behaved and she enjoys retrieving items that we throw.  She is a very healthy and happy member of our home.
We wish you and your family a very Merry Christmas and a happy and healthy New Year,
Cole, Cindy, and Abby.

Dear Christy,
Finally!  I have a couple of pictures for you! This coming Thursday Annie has a play date with her sister Tessa. This will be fun. We are finally meeting for the first time, and I can't wait. I'll take my camera and take some pictures so you can see the two girls together. Hope everything is going okay with you. Can' tell you how much we are enjoying Annie!
Talk to you soon.

Hi Christy,
All is going well with our new doggie, we just love her!  We calling her Winnie and she seems ok with that!
She is sleeping in my husband and my bedroom.  Most of the time on the floor (I have a bed for her but she isn't sure about it yet) but sometimes she hops onto our bed to say hi.  She is just dear and so sweet.
I am going to give her some time to adjust to life at our house before I start working on training issues, the leash, etc.  I am sure it will all work itself out in due time.
We love her and think she is wonderful!
Jennifer

Christy:

We wanted to wish you a Happy New Year. Skylar (Claira x Asher) is almost one year old now. She has grown into a great dog and we love having her with us every day. She has become best friends with the Golden next door (18 months old) and the two love to play together every day. She especially loves the snow and never seems to get cold! (unlike her human companions). She also loves to snuggle and play with our daughter's miniature Dachshund puppy. Our friends are amazed at how mellow she is for a puppy. We are so happy that she is part of our family, especially after our painful losses last year.

Best to you and your family:

Hello from St. Paul, MN. My husband and I thank you everyday for giving us, Lucy. She was one of the Sarah, Asher pups from the 8/08 litter that we took home in October, 08. We have loved every minute with her and are strongly considering a sister for her. To my great surprise I see that you have pups from those same adults again. By chance do you still have a female available?

Thanks,
Krista and Scott

Hi Christy,

Happy New Year!   I hope you and your family had a wonderful holiday and that you are managing to keep warm.

We are doing well.  We thought you would enjoy these photos of Cash.  He is a "spoiled boy" and we love him dearly.  He is such a lover boy and adores my daughter Brooke.  Sadly for us, she will be moving to Texas next month.  He loves to run, play, cuddle and just be with us.  He is also a bit of a watch dog and alerts us to noises he hears or dogs walking by the house.   Our former golden Max hardly ever barked, so that is new for us.  He also has this funny little arf noise he makes to get our attention.  It is the tiniest little bark ever and so amusing.  I think he has a bit of separation anxiety because on a few occasions he has destroyed a magazine or two, and a pair of my shoes when I have left the house to run an errand.  He never destroys anything laying around when we are home...just his toys that he likes to rip the stuffing out of occasionally.  He is such a handsome guy and we get comments and compliments everywhere we take him.  We are very happy with him and adore him.

Please give us an update on what is happening with you...we would love to hear from you.

Blessings
Linda

Hi Christy,

I wanted to send you some new pictures of Bo and Buehrle.  We just love them both so much.  They sure fit right in with our family.  I can't thank you enough.  Hope you and your family are doing well.

Please see the attached pictures for your pleasure.  If you are able to see their collars, Bo has a red collar and Buehrle has a blue collar.   I will have to send two e-mails with the pictures.

Thanks again,
Sue

Hi Mikula's,
We thought we would send a year update (even though we are a bit late!) regarding Adeline, better known as Addie.  She is absolutely gorgeous (looks like her Dad) and makes us laugh all the time.  The four of us took her first day home in stride.  I think she was a bit more stressed, as she fell asleep in her water bowl.  Her retriever qualities are definitely developed.  She is always grabbing socks, dish towels, shoes, etc. and wandering around, whimping, until someone comes to retrieve it from her.  She has made several puppy friends.  She plays with another golden in the neighborhood and with a silver lab, Sterling, at our cabin Up-North.  Sterling is five years old and taught Addie to swim this Summer.  She does not pay much attention to the television, but when Gilmore Girls is on, she will sit down to watch.  She does not bark/talk much, but when she does it is always something very important.  She is our constant companion and loves to snuggle.  We appreciate you giving us such a happy, smart, healthy dog!  Hope all is well with your family.

Best,
Stephanie

Hi Christy
I just wanted to write and let you know Shiloh is doing fantastic. She is the best doggie ever...honestly I never imagined I could love something more...we are so perfect for each other; we love cuddling and were by each others side 24/7! I will never be able to express how thankful I am to you for giving me Shiloh....she's changed my life and she has made me such a different person... I take her very where honestly he only time she stays behind is when I have my hands full with laundry or something and I don't have a free leash hand! I never thought I could love dogs more than I did before shi but she is the love of my life, and I just want to thank you for her.
Thanks for taking time to read this; I could go on forever about her and how much I love and adore her! So thanks and I hope you like the pix(although they don't do her justice-she's such a pretty girl)

Hello there Christy,
Just an update for you- Duncan is doing well. He is almost 50 pounds and just got neutered this past Thursday. He is healing well and he is just as energetic as ever before! He's finally starting to enjoy walks a little more- for a while we had to drag him to get him to leave home- he was a little anxious. But now he is walking well. My parents love him and spoil him. He came up north with us all and was able to swim for the first time in July. He was scared at first, but by the end of the week he went in by himself. We love him and he knows it- everyone at the vet's office thinks he is the cutest dog- and they can tell he knows it too! But people comment all the time about how calm he is (of course they don't see him all the time, but at least he is very well behaved in public!).

Hope things are going well with you. Thanks again!
Tara and Zach

Hi Christy!
I know it's been awhile. I had emailed you awhile back but your email address had changed.

Just wanted to give you some updates with Jasmine.

She is so well behaved and such an amazingly good girl! I've never had a dog that was SO good! She does anything and everything in her power to not get in trouble and when she does (which is rare!) she will look at you with those eyes and gives her paw and it's just melts your heart!:) Training was so simple it's still just unreal to us! She caught on with everything so fast and is so smart! We always get so many compliments on how good she is and just how gorgeous she is:) She's is just waiting for the snow to fall this year so she can run and play (and eat it)!

She is a true part of the family and cannot ever not be involved with anything we do:) She's not happy unless she's right on top of us and involved in everything!! She truly is the gift that keeps on giving!:)

Here are some pictures of her through the past couple years! (and there is this picture that looks exactly like one I have on her on your 'past puppies and thier loving homes-Sampson' I had to do a double take!!:) Maybe it was one of her siblings:)

Hope all is well with you guys at your new (well I guess it's not that new anymore since you guys have been up there for a little while now) place!!

Thanks again for letting us have our little angel Jasmine as a part of our family and lives:) She brightens my day everyday!!

Max is such a good boy!  He's happy and playing.  He went both outside last night and this morning.  He ate his breakfast... He fits right in!!  Marley is a tad jealous, but I know she'll enjoy having someone to run and play with.  She seems to like him already!  Yay!!  He was worth all the trouble last night.  I still can't believe he didn't have poop all over him when I picked him up!  What a good boy!!

Hi Christy,

Well it has been almost a week and I thought I’d drop you a note and let you know Finn is doing GREAT. He is such a little lover and we are all enjoying him. I am sending a picture of him sleeping under my desk—I think he considers that his den and takes a snooze there every time I work at my desk.

He is walking on a lead very well and has great success with using the yard for his business (okay, he has US trained at this point, but that is fine!) He is doing great in his crate at night, settles down quickly—still getting up 1-2x’s per night, but I anticipate that will decrease as his bladder matures. He is a very light eater, but I am thinking there must be a little cow or sheep in his background somewhere as he likes nothing better to graze in the backyard—trying to distract him from that! LOL J

Anyway, hope all is well with you and your family. Will send you periodic updates as he continues to grow and flourish.

Thanks again for the wonderful puppy!

Morning all,

As most of you know our sweet Daisy past away recently. Our home has been empty without her so we had to get another Golden. "She", no name yet, arrived last night on a Delta flight. She is doing great! Logan is extremely attached to her as she is attached to Logan. David and I haven't stopped smiling since she has arrived. We are truly blessed to have found Christy and her husband, the breeders we bought her from. They have the most beautiful Golden's I have ever seen. I attached the link if you would like to see her dogs!

The pink mark was a marking that she received her shots, it washes off.

I am taking suggestions for a name??????

Hope you all are able to see these pictures ok.

Hi Everyone,
Just thought I should let everyone know how well I'm doing.  I'm 8 months old now and I weigh 50+ pounds.  Boy was surprised when that white stuff covered the ground.  I just love it!  I roll in it, I dig in it, and I run in it.  My mom and dad toss my ball or my air kong and I run in the snow to fetch it.  I never give my ball back without a little tug-o-war.  My dad takes my out to the park everyday and sometimes twice a day. I have the best dad ever!  I never want to come in so my mom and dad are not to happy about that.  I graduated puppy class and basic obedience class.  So I'm trying to be a good citizen.  It's hard because I really like everyone.

Love, Parker

"On my gosh, we just LOVE Marley!!  She is sooo sweet and calm.  Marley met Rudy (my friend's golden) this morning after our run.  They like each other. Marley loves our sofa.  That is where she spends most of her time when she's not outside with the kids.  She's so cute.  Sometimes she forgets that she knows how to get down and when no one is sitting there with her she whines and barks a little.  Then I tell her come on silly and she'll jump down.  The kitchen is behind the sofa so she thinks to get to us she has to jump over the back then she must remember that all she has to do is jump down the front and walk around...too funny. "

Bucky is as gorgeous on the inside as he is on the outside. He turns heads often and his beautiful coat, looks, personality and totally quiet nature. First Bucky is our boy, but we share him with others. He visits nursing homes, brightening the day for many seniors. It speaks volumes about the quality pups at Kinship Companions. He has made everyday truly golden. We are blessed to have him as a member of our family.

Hi!  I've been meaning to send you a few pictures of

Hi Christy,

Toby is doing wonderfully.   The kids are still getting used to having a dog in the house that likes to chew their toys when not put up or not put up high enough if no-one is in the room.   He is very mild mannered and well behaved – except for toys and paper, especially napkins!   At 9 1/2 months he was given free roam of the home, it helps that I work from home and am here the majority of the time.  When we are going to be gone he is gated in the upstairs master bedroom with an outside screened porch which he loves to lounge on and “watch” the neighborhood (it’s also his favorite place to go to sleep at night – must be all that fur).    Last month we got 6 inches of snow (unusual for the Raleigh, NC area) and he was in heaven!!!   We could see that he is an outside, wintery dog at heart.  He would go out and play in the snow on our downstairs porch and just stay out there playing and resting.   He also loves our afternoon walks to the school to pick up “his kids” and to visit all the other one’s there waiting to greet him.

I am attaching a couple pictures of him so you can see what a handsome guy he has become.

Take care,

Hello Christy:
I took him to the vet on Friday for a weight check.  He now weighs 64 pounds - still skinny as a rail.  I tell him he's nothing but fur and bones.  He still has the cowlick stripe on his nose.  I'll send a couple of photos when I get them loaded.
We would like to bring Moose back to your place for a visit when the weather gets decent, if you guys would agree.  Judy would like to come some time when she can meet your whole "crew", and thank them for raising such a nice puppy.  Maybe Spring vacation?
Must go.  All the best.

Dear Christy,
We adopted our golden, Cooper, from you in August 2008.  He was the purple dog from Tirza/Asher.  We took him home August 20, 2008 at 10 weeks.  I cannot begin to tell you what a joy he is!  He is the sweetest, calmest, most loving puppy I have ever met! But he is truly the love of our life.  Our 2 almost 3 year old son Liam just adores him and you would think they were blood brothers.  They wrestle together, play together and fight together.  They just adore each other.  It is so great to see them grow up together. He really wants to be best buds with our cat, but she was a little traumatized by our previous dog, so she is slowly warming up to him.  She has figured out he is just a pest and will not hurt her!  I figure by the time she is really old they will be buds. He was house trained in two weeks, except for a few accidents here or there.  He has not destroyed a thing or chewed anything up; but wow does he love to dig!!!  He would go to China if we did not stop him!aaSaqaq  He has already completed puppy class and in February we are starting advanced class and agility training.  He is such a quick learner! He also is very smart.  We are expecting our second baby in September and even before we knew we were pregnant, Cooper never left my side, day or night!  He still is very protective of me.  Anyway, thank you so much for our beautiful dog.  He is such a great addition to our family and we look forward to many, many years together with him!

Thank you,
Karen, Brad, Liam and Cooper

[Yes, he is sleeping on the table!]

Hello Christy and the rest of the Mikula Gang!!!

I was thinking of you the other day and just wanted to say hello and wish you a Happy New Year!!! Also, I wanted to give you an update on our boys, Rocky and Buddy.

Seriously, I can't even begin to tell you how much David and I love those dogs. If we're are not laughing at them, playing with them or sleeping with them..we are taking pictures of how cute and funny they are. We have even contemplated buying a larger bed to better accommodate the four of us at bedtime. They are not only the most beautiful golden retrievers I have even seen, especially Buddy, but they also have the best temperaments!  Thank you so much for making my family complete...well almost complete. Sometimes David and I contemplate getting a third puppy...we always say that Buddy and Rocky need a sister :).Anyway, I hope all is well with you and your family...especially little one that's getting ready to celebrate his first birthday in March.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Sincerely,
David, Jamie, Rocky, Buddy and David Jr.

Christy,
I wanted to get you some updated pictures I just took of Bailey this past week.  She is doing great.  We have advanced to the next level of obedience training.  She is such a wonderful girl.  Still very much a puppy, but very well behaved.

Thanks, Crystal

We wanted to give you an update on Sampson, the pup you sold us in the fall.  He is doing great and he is a beautiful puppy.  His personality is a great fit with us, we are very pleased with him and all that you did to assist us in the process.

Everyone loves him!  Here are some pictures we have taken of Sampson, thanks again and Happy Holidays!

Hey guys,

I just thought I would give you an update on Ralph, the Golden Retriever that I adopted from you three weeks ago.  He is doing extremely well, and he is making all sorts of new friends at the dog park across the street.  I am very happy with him (not so little anymore- almost 40 lbs.).

 Thanks!

Hi Christy,

The boys are doing GREAT!

They are healthy and happy. It is really nice having 2. I don’t think we will ever go back to having just one again. They both have great personalities in there own way. Otis, the darker one, remains dominant and more playful. Duke, is the same lover as the day we brought him home. They have pretty much earned free-range of the house except for my daughters room-too much temptation to grab just about any/everything. Otis was 4 lbs. lighter than Duke when we got them, but now he has pulled within a 1 lb.  They are 48/49 lbs. now and growing every day. It is our Sunday ritual to have them weigh in! Many people, including breeders, have complemented on what fine dogs they are. We have even referred a few people to you at their request. I think they are adjusting quite well. Fortunately, not one bad story to tell.

Here are some photos, enjoy.

Thanks

I thought I'd send you some pictures of Molly so I attached them to this email:-) The ones of Molly and the older golden retriever is our friend Ruby who came to visit Molly for a day (the dog I used to dog sit). And there is also a picture of Adam (my fiancé who you met), and his little sister Kaylee with Molly. And the other ones are of just Molly, or of Molly and me together:-) Have a Happy Thanksgiving!!

We love Jack deeply and he is a part of our family.  He brings a great deal of joy to our lives and we are grateful to have him.  Jack is healthy and happy.  We can't even remember what life is like without him and wouldn't trade him for the world.

Emma is happy, lively and learning to become a good citizen. She enjoys walks of several miles each day. With that she is surprisingly calm in the house with the exception of a periodic cat chase. Many of her adult teeth are in. Her adult coat has nice curls and she is starting to feather.

Hope this finds that you’ve settled into your new home and had a great holiday season.  I thought I would e-mail a current (7 mo) picture of Beau (used to be called Ducky – out of Yogi and Daisy).  He’s an absolute doll and great with the kids.  My sister-in-law has a chocolate lab – they love to play together and we regularly set-up “play” dates!

 Happy New Year!

Hello Christy,

We are enjoying Zara (so much.  She has made a great addition to our family.  Zara still loves to pounce and prance even though she is 8 month old already (WOW!).  She also still stretches for us everyday.  Thank you for passing on this wonderful gift from God to us.

No name still!  Every time we have one it just doesn't fit!  He is unbelievable though- I have never had such a smart puppy-ever!  I tell everyone that they have to get their next puppy from you... he's totally housebroken and sweet and so playful ( all that at only 10 weeks old!).
