Dogs are not our whole life,

but they make our lives whole.........

Thank you for coming to our site to learn more about our puppies and their exceptional parents. You might

find that we are different than many of the breeders you will come across on your search for a puppy.  Inspired

by some of the dog enthusiasts we've met along the way and coupled with an interest to bring a more

personal and authentic approach to purchasing a puppy, we strive to promote a "meant to be" type of

placement for each puppy.   By fully facilitating our Golden Retrievers and Bernese Mountain Dog puppies at

all ages and stages of life we are able to move away from the "out of the door at 7-8 weeks old" focus which is

a common mentality in the pet industry.

While we work with high quality Champion pedigrees, our primary interest is in providing beautiful and

healthy puppies as pets to families for use as companions in both home and therapy setting. Securing the best

possible home for each puppy is one of our highest priorities.  However, we are in no rush to place our puppies

and value choosing each home carefully. This is done only after we can see how their health, temperament,

and conformation is developing in each pup. As we have for years, our puppies are placed only when they are

old enough to be "known" and chosen by our clients. Our puppies typically meet new families only after 8

weeks of age, and are sent home closer to 11 weeks and beyond depending on their personal growth.

Our puppies are bred to have calm and affectionate natures, with some variables in temperament to allow

each puppy to fit into just the right home. They come from strong, healthy and reliable lines. We have a less

than 3% incidence of post placement setbacks. However, we will not claim to have illuminated the health issues

this breed faces. We will encourage our clients to incorporate healthy choices such as conservative inoculation

schedules or incorporating a raw food into puppy's diet. We do not see things as black and white and enjoy

working with families to encourage the best method of raising their puppy. We acknowledge that what we do

is a business, and our efforts are accredited by the Better Business Bureau. We are inspected and in good

standing with the American Kennel Club.  Applications, a written Guarantee, and reasonable accommodations

are vital tools in placing our puppies. We review the expectations and contractual requirements with each

client before purchase and spend as much time as the family needs bringing this new little creature into their

lives.  We have found an increasing need to insure that the families we work with are honest and sincere so

please be as candid as possible in our correspondence. The particulars of our life have taught us to have a plan

B and it is important to us that our clients are not in search of perfection, but have reasonable expectations

and an optimistic attitude towards the realities of pet ownership.

We are a busy family with young children, whom we raise with a conservative outlook. Our dogs are an

integrated part of our children's' lives. We incorporate our passions for attachment parenting with our children

in the way we raise our puppies. Raising our children along side our dogs has not only allowed attention and

love to be flourished on our puppies, but has inspired us to possess a more instinctual and naturally loving

manner of parenting.  This year we welcomed our darling little baby girl Charlette Lauren into our home. In

every simple way she has brought a refreshing sense of what is important back into our lives. Due to the

special needs of our family we have recently cut back on the amount of time spent "in the office" these days.

We are flattered that so many people turn to us for questions during their search in buying a puppy.   However

we are asking for serious inquires only so that we can focus our efforts on the families which are in the midst of

choosing a puppy from us or may need our support after taking one home. We work with only 5 families at a

time and choose to know as much as we can about each home. Through email and our website(which we

build and maintain), we enjoy working with our clients and keeping in touch for years after placement.

Please spend some time poking around our site getting acquainted with our program and possibly feeling out

what options would be best for your family before contacting us.  You will find that our application will be very

helpful in teaching us about who you are and how things may come together. Keep in mind that we will only

accept applications for homes ready to adopt within the next 30 days. We do have some wonderful puppies of

all ages ready to go into their forever homes this season and we ask for your continued patience as we take

time to coordinate our adoptions.  Your cooperation and understanding will help us expedite your placement!

Thank you again for stopping by our site, we wish each visitor a healthy and joyful summer!
